Reporting to the Manager – Digital Operations, you will provide first level technical support to employees across the Corporation. You’ll be the friendly face (and voice) of IT – resolving issues, managing requests and ensuring our systems and devices run smoothly.
This is a hands-on and varied role where you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing first level IT Support, troubleshooting issues and escalating where required
- Managing service desk requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication
- Supporting the rollout and maintenance of the Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
- Maintaining Active Directory, including user accounts and device updates
- Coordinating IT administration tasks, including purchasing, telecommunications billing and documentation
- Managing and tracking IT equipment assets such as laptops, monitors, printers and mobile devices
- Contributing to a secure, safe and compliant IT environment, including data security and workplace safety
You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to special project and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT function.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative Digital Operations team who are based at the Shepparton Administration Centre in the Fryers Street CBD precinct. This position includes some travel across GVW sites. Flexible work arrangements are available, where operationally appropriate, in line with GVW policy.
