Due to continuous growth, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business by actively prospecting and engaging builders, developers, architects, and shopfitters across the Sydney metro market.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for accounts.
- Own the sales pipeline end-to-end — from lead generation and initial enquiry through to contract close.
- Work closely with the estimating team to scope projects and turn around competitive quotes and tender submissions.
- Manage client orders from order confirmation through to delivery, coordinating with estimating, production, and installation teams.
- Promote the full Green Life product range and advise clients on suitable systems for residential and commercial applications.
- Meet and exceed KPI, sales, and forecast targets.
- Maintain accurate records and disciplined sales reporting in the company CRM.
Key Requirements
- Integrity, loyalty, and a strong work ethic — the foremost requirement, as we seek like-minded individuals to complement our existing team.
- Minimum 3 years of sales and business development experience in construction material supply, ideally windows and façades, with a proven track record.
- Demonstrated ability to actively prospect and engage Australian builders, with an established network or proven approach to winning builder accounts.
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards (AS 2047, AS 1288, NCC compliance) for windows and doors, or willingness to learn.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong rapport-building, long-term relationship management, and commercial negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to own a sales pipeline end-to-end — from lead generation through to contract close — and consistently meet KPI and forecast targets.
- Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Sydney metro area.
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with architects, builders, developers, or shopfitters in the NSW market.
- Experience preparing competitive quotes and responding to tenders, including reading architectural drawings and window schedules.
- Experience managing client orders through to delivery, working closely with estimating, production, and installation teams.
- Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g. Odoo, Monday), Microsoft Office, and quoting software, with disciplined sales reporting habits.
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
