East Beaumaris Kindergarten is a vibrant, inclusive community kindergarten providing quality 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs, set in natural surroundings next to Illaroo Reserve in Beaumaris. East Beaumaris Kindergarten is a not-for-profit sessional kinder run by a Committee of Management made up of parent volunteers. Our curriculum is play based and our focus is on supporting and extending the children’s interests and strengths to develop confidence, curiosity and an enthusiasm for learning. As a kindergarten we are committed to providing a child safe environment and all staff must demonstrate their ongoing responsibility to ensuring child safety. In 2026 East Beaumaris Kindergarten is offering one 3 year old program (15 hours per week), one 4 year old program (15 hours per week) and an optional mixed age Extended Care program (7.5 hours per week). We are looking for a warm, passionate and motivated Diploma Educators to work casually with our 3 year old and 4 year old groups. The successful candidate must work well with a team, build positive relationships with the children and their families, report to the Educational Leader and Committee of Management. You must have a sound knowledge of the EYLF and the NQF, Educational and Care Services Laws and Regulations. You will be working collaboratively with Educators, children and families to deliver a safe and engaging program. Must be available to work full-day shifts (8:00am–4:45pm) on weekdays, on a casual and as-needed basis.
