About the role
Our Personal Care Workers (Domestic Assistant's) provide assistance to our Home Care clients , ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices. These include:
Domestic Assistance (e.g. general cleaning, bathroom and kitchen tasks, vacuuming and mopping, laundry, bed making, light household duties)
Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, assisting with shopping, help at home)
Engaging in social activities as required
About this location: Provide domestic assistance to clients across the suburbs of Croydon, Ringwood, Heathmont, Warranwood, Kilsyth and the surrounding suburbs.
To be successful, you will have :
Background in cleaning or similar role is highly regarded (ideally community setting)
Good communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully and compassionately with older people, families, representatives and colleagues
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
Australian drivers licence and your own vehicle
