The Opportunity
We are seeking a full time HVAC Draftsperson to join our Rowville team, working on diverse projects valued up to $50M across Victoria and nationally. Reporting to the Drafting Design Manager and part of a national team of nearly 60 detail draftspersons. You may be drawing small works or major projects for both Victoria and national projects.
The work is diverse and our current projects include hi rise residential & commercial, major healthcare, industrial and CBD fit out works.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Execute modelling and drafting work within time constraints to company standards.
- Prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.
- Preparing documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Reliably support Project Managers, Site personal, Engineers in satisfactorily completing projects.
- Adhere to professional standards, ethics, and quality procedures.
- Contribute to our company culture.
- Work independently once set a task.
To be successful for this role you’ll need:
- Mechanical Detail Drafting Revit experience working on HVAC building services.
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Understanding of 3D and 2D drafting techniques utilising Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC Suite, and other modelling / clash detection software.
- Dedicated in pursuing continued development in Revit/BIM Design Package, design understanding and product education.
- Able to work effectively in teams.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Positive, can-do attitude.

You may be highly experienced, and working in a similar or associated role currently, or you may be working your way up in the industry and looking for the next challenge and can demonstrate the ability to learn & adapt.

Ideally you will:
- Associate’s degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- A background in drafting and design, with a focus on HVAC systems, and a keen eye for detail
- Strong in Revit, Navis works & AutoCAD capability.
- An understanding of Bluebeam Revu is desirable.
- Have an in-depth technical understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Strong communication with engineers and project teams
- Be highly motivated & well presented.
