Experienced Host / Hostess – Premium Chinese Restaurant (Chadstone Shopping Centre)
*No host experience, please do not apply* We are seeking an experienced and professional Host / Hostess to join our new premium Chinese restaurant opening at Chadstone Shopping Centre. As the first point of contact for our guests, this role is much more than simply greeting and farewelling customers. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Key Responsibilities: - Greeting and seating guests professionally - Managing reservations and booking confirmations - Handling customer enquiries regarding menu items and restaurant services - Coordinating guest flow with the restaurant team - Operating the cashier and processing payments - Providing outstanding customer service at all times Requirements: - Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. - Previous experience as a Host / Hostess in a restaurant environment - Cashier experience is essential - Experience in a premium Chinese restaurant is highly regarded - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Well-presented, professional, and customer-focused - Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment Employment Details: - Immediate start available - Pay rate: $25.85 per hour + applicable weekend penalty rates - Rotating roster between 9:00am and 10:00pm - Availability to work Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays Career Development Opportunities We are committed to developing our team members and promoting from within.
