Maintenance Fitter

Steel-Line is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join the team on a permanent basis.
You will be working in a clean exciting fast paced environment with the focus on the state-of-the-art automation equipment using your experience and fitting skills whilst learning modern technology like roll-forming, pressing, punching and other metal joining and packaging processes.
Working out of the Darra site, the successful applicant will need the following.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years fitting experience
- Trade qualified.
- Be opened minded to work on new and exciting technology.
- Be able to maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and embrace preventative maintenance methodologies.
- Have sound mechanical / technical fitting experience.
- Tooling/Die set experience highly desirable but not essential.
- Roll-form machinery maintenance experience highly desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics
- Basic workshop skills including welding and machining
- Excellent communicator and willing to collaborate with team and site Engineers.
- Forklift license essential.
This is a dayshift shift role with shift hours being from 8am - 4.06pm – negotiable.
Immediate Start or as soon as possible.
Pay: From $37.73 per hour
