Cleaner / Household Organizer in Albanvale, VIC
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Cleaner / Household Organizer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, tidy, and well-organized home environment. This role includes general household cleaning as well as organizing the girls’ bedrooms, wardrobes, toys, school items, and personal belongings to help keep the home neat and functional.
The successful candidate will work with limited supervision and should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, respect for privacy, and a proactive approach to household organization.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining bathrooms and kitchen areas.
- Clean and maintain common areas to ensure a hygienic and presentable environment.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, sorting, and putting clothes away.
- Organize the girls’ bedrooms, wardrobes, drawers, toys, books, school supplies, and other personal belongings.
- Declutter and maintain storage areas and household items in an orderly manner.
- Change bed linen and keep bedrooms neat and well-presented.
- Assist with household organization projects and maintain tidy living spaces.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain confidentiality and respect for the family’s privacy.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
- Working with Children Check (Required)
- National Criminal Record Clearance (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (Preferred)
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or household organization is desirable.
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly regarded.
- Experience organizing children’s belongings, wardrobes, toys, and personal items is desirable.
- Experience working in a family home environment is an advantage.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $63.00 per hour
