How will you make an impact?
As Senior Analyst, Investment Compliance, you'll play a critical role in helping Hostplus deliver strong outcomes for our members by ensuring our investment and finance activities operate within a robust compliance framework. Working closely with investment, finance, risk and compliance stakeholders, you'll provide trusted advice, support regulatory change initiatives, and strengthen obligations management across one of Australia's leading superannuation funds.
This is a 12 month max term contract position.
The opportunity
- Work collaboratively with the Risk and Compliance Team to implement, manage and continually enhance the Hostplus Compliance Management Policy and to drive the compliance strategy across the Investment, Investment Operations and Finance functions.
- Promote a compliance culture within the Investments, Investment Operations and Finance functions through training, education and compliance awareness.
- Engage with the Investments, Investment Operations and Finance functions by providing advice and support that will assist the business to comply with its legal, regulatory, license and statutory obligations.
- Provide compliance advice and support on projects and initiatives, including system and process changes.
- Lead the implementation of legislative and regulatory change within the Investment, Investment Operations and Finance functions.
- Lead the investigation and remediation of investment and finance related breaches (including notifiable breaches) by producing Breach Assessment Reports.
- Support the implementation of Hostplus’ Modern Slavery Policy by conducting modern slavery risk assessments and preparing materials for the Modern Slavery Steering Committee.
- Support the development, review and implementation of investment and finance related compliance policies.
- Support the preparation of compliance reports and updates for the Board, Audit and Risk Committees and Chiefs.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Investment Risk and Compliance.
About you
- Minimum of five years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least three years in an investment compliance, risk or internal audit role.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Law or similar. .
