About Us
Ho Jiak is one of Australia's most prominent Malaysian restaurant groups, celebrated for bringing authentic Malaysian street food and heritage cooking to Sydney diners. With multiple venues and a strong digital presence across social media platforms, we are seeking a talented Content Creator (Marketing) to drive our brand storytelling across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create, schedule and publish marketing content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu) and the company website.
2. Develop, shoot and edit video content showcasing dishes, venues, events and campaigns, from concept through to post-production.
3. Plan and conduct photoshoots for menu items, promotions and product features.
4. Design visual assets for digital and print campaigns, including EDMs, paid advertisements, banners, menus and in-venue promotional materials.
5. Write engaging copy and captions for social posts, EDMs and campaign materials consistent with brand tone and voice.
6. Manage website content updates, layout changes and banner designs to support promotions and new launches.
7. Monitor content performance and engagement metrics using tools such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics, and optimize content to improve reach and engagement.
8. Ensure brand consistency across all content and platforms, collaborating with marketing, e-commerce and venue teams on product launches and promotions.
About You
- Relevant qualification in digital media, design, marketing or a related field, and/or demonstrated experience in content creation for hospitality or consumer brands
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
- Experience with social media management across Meta platforms, TikTok and Xiao Hong Shu
- Strong photography, videography and editing skills
- Experience with EDM platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) and content management systems
- Ability to work across multiple venues and manage competing deadlines
- An eye for food styling and visual storytelling; familiarity with Malaysian cuisine and culture highly regarded
