The Opportunity
The Senior Manager Transmission Planning Advisor champions strategic engagement across industry, government and technical stakeholders to support VicGrid's role as the Victorian Transmission Planner.
This role ensures effective coordination and alignment among planning, policy, and operational stakeholders, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable insights to enable informed decision-making and the successful delivery of transmission planning outcomes.

What you will deliver
- Champion and deliver strategic stakeholder engagement aligned to VicGrid's transmission planning function, with a focus on planning and operational outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry bodies, government departments and technical stakeholders to support the development of the Victorian Transmission Plan (VTP).
- Coordinate and manage engagement with DEECA, ensuring alignment with government priorities, policy settings and regulatory frameworks.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience spearheading stakeholder engagement within complex, technical environments, ideally within infrastructure, energy or transmission planning.
- Proven capability in building trusted relationships and exerting influence across industry, government and technical stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of transmission planning, energy markets or related technical domains, with the ability to engage confidently with subject matter experts.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, stakeholder-focused communication.
