Unique Traits Community Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on supporting young children with developmental delays and disabilities, and their families, through evidence-based, play-based, and family-centred practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualised early childhood intervention services to children and families.
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to achieve developmental goals.
- Develop and implement tailored strategies and programs in natural environments (home, kinder, community).
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and contribute to NDIS reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Registration with relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, SPA, VIT) where applicable.
- Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience in family-centred practice and working with children with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
