We are looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified mechanic seeking stable, long-term employment with a modern workshop and a close-knit team.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Servicing and repairing a wide range of light vehicles
- Inspecting engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension systems
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Replacing and repairing mechanical components
- Carrying out road tests and post-repair inspections
- Following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
- Working closely with the workshop team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
- Providing high-quality workmanship and professional customer service
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on a variety of light vehicles
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment
- Current driver's licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, motivated and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship
