NDIS Support Worker (Casual) – Redland Bay area
24/7 Support Roster | Day, Afternoon, Overnight & Weekend Shifts Available

About the Role
Harmony Centred Care is seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a participant living in Redland Bay.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a consistent support team providing round-the-clock care and support within the participant's home and community. We are seeking workers who value relationship-based support, respect participant and their loved one's choice and dignity, and can provide calm, person-centred assistance throughout changing support needs.
Support is provided on a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week roster, including:
- Morning shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Sleepover overnight shifts
- Weekend shifts
What You'll Do
- Provide person-centred support in the participant's home
- Assist with daily living activities and household routines
- Support community access, appointments, and social participation
- Encourage independence and maintain existing skills wherever possible
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
- Work collaboratively with family members and allied health professionals
- Complete accurate progress notes and incident reporting when required
- Follow support plans, risk assessments, and behavioural support strategies
About the Participant
The participant is living with Dementia and requires a consistent, patient, and understanding support team.
Successful applicants will be comfortable working within a family-centred environment and supporting the participant to maintain quality of life, meaningful engagement, routine, dignity, and choice.
Experience supporting participants with dementia, cognitive decline, neurological conditions, behavioural support needs, or complex care requirements will be highly regarded.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- Blue Card
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smartphone for rostering and documentation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Mindful of privacy
- Mindful of Cultural differences in household
Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting people living with dementia or neurological conditions
- Mental health or behavioural support experience
- Medication assistance experience ( ideal if one has Medication Endorsement )
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7 roster
