Position Summary
We are looking for SAP S/4HANA Finance professionals across Consultant, Lead Consultant, Associate Manager and Manager levels to support and lead Finance transformation initiatives. This role is suitable for candidates with hands-on SAP Finance experience, strong consulting capability and mandatory practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, analysis and solution quality. Successful candidates will work across Finance process design, configuration, testing, stakeholder engagement, data and reporting validation, issue resolution and continuous improvement, with responsibilities scaled to their experience level.
Key Responsibilities
-
Support or lead SAP S/4HANA Finance solution activities across areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cash Management, Group Reporting and financial close.

Participate in or facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, process walkthroughs and design discussions with Finance stakeholders, helping translate business needs into practical SAP Finance solutions.

Prepare, review or own functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, defect analysis notes, training content and knowledge transfer materials.

Configure, validate and support SAP Finance processes within agreed design principles, ensuring alignment with controls, reporting requirements, data considerations and integration touchpoints.

Work with functional, technical, integration, data, reporting, security, testing and business teams to support end-to-end Finance solution delivery.

Support testing, UAT, cutover, data validation, issue resolution and post-go-live stabilisation activities, including root cause analysis and practical solution recommendations.

For senior candidates, provide Finance solution leadership, stakeholder management, design governance, coaching and mentoring to build team capability and ensure consistent delivery quality.
Required Experience
-
2+ years to 10+ years of SAP Finance experience, depending on level, across consulting, implementation, enhancement, support, business analysis or transformation roles.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP ECC Finance or related enterprise Finance systems, with stronger S/4HANA design and configuration depth expected at Lead Consultant, Associate Manager and Manager levels.

Exposure to at least one SAP implementation, S/4HANA conversion, rollout, enhancement or support engagement; senior candidates should bring multiple full-cycle SAP implementation or transformation experiences.

Mandatory hands-on experience using AI tools in professional, project, training or enterprise contexts to improve documentation, analysis, testing support, learning, productivity or solution validation.
Core Technical Skills
-
SAP Finance process knowledge across one or more areas including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, Cash Management, Group Reporting, financial close, reconciliations and reporting.

Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance concepts including Universal Journal, finance master data, Fiori apps, embedded reporting, period-end close and process simplification.

Ability to work with configuration, functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, defect logs, data validation outputs and support materials.

Awareness of integration touchpoints with procurement, sales, projects, banking, tax, workflow, reporting, data and external applications such as Concur or Ariba.

Working knowledge of SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard, clean core principles, testing cycles, defect management, controlled change processes and delivery governance.
AI & Digital Capability

Practical experience using Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, SAP Joule, ChatGPT Enterprise or comparable enterprise AI assistants is mandatory.

Ability to use AI responsibly to support requirements summarisation, process analysis, documentation drafting, test preparation, defect analysis, knowledge discovery and stakeholder communication.

Awareness of SAP Business AI, SAP Joule and AI-enabled Finance use cases such as invoice processing, anomaly detection, reconciliations, reporting insights, exception handling and close support.

Strong judgement in reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, relevance, bias, traceability and alignment with client or project standards before use.

For senior candidates, ability to manage stakeholders, guide teams, influence solution decisions, mentor consultants and support high-quality delivery outcomes.
