Scope:
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain process within our Braemac production facility. The individual will be involved in optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products while minimising costs, leadtimes and maximizing customer satisfaction. The Senior Sourcing Specialist will collaborate with various departments including procurement, product marketing, engineering teams, operations and sales to streamline processes and enhance overall performance.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise the supply chain process.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability and cost effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Implement best practices for warehousing, inventory handling, and other fulfillment to enhance operational efficiency across our production facility.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
- Establish contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is preferred.
- Seven years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and drive organisational change.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
