Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy to a diverse client base, including patients under Medicare Care Plans, WorkCover, post-op care, and private billing.
- Deliver personalised physiotherapy sessions in clients' homes under Home Care Packages and NDIS, focusing on improving functional abilities, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.
- Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, allied health professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure holistic, coordinated care.
- Engage in hands-on therapeutic intervention, movement and exercise prescription, and patient education.
- Provide guidance to clients and caregivers on pain management strategies and fall prevention.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Experienced clinicians and new graduates both welcome — a mentoring program is available to support your development.
- Sound knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Connect Therapy (Thoracic Ring Approach) knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule to meet client needs.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centred approach to care.
- Proficiency with Best Practice Software and Nookal preferred.
