Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse in Ward 6B's Acute Cognitive Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based, compassionate care to older people with complex cognitive and medical needs. Working alongside experienced nursing, medical and allied health professionals, you'll contribute to improving patient outcomes in a purpose-designed environment focused on reducing functional decline and supporting quality of life.
Support patients experiencing dementia, delirium, frailty and functional decline.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Monitor, document and communicate patient progress effectively.
Provide education and support to patients, families and carers.
About you:
You're a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about caring for older people and enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
A genuine interest in dementia, geriatric and cognitive care.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and relationship-building abilities.
