Bremer State High School has proudly served the Ipswich community for over six decades. Established in 1959 with just 120 foundation students, our school was led by inaugural Principal Mr Wesley Donaldson Napier.
Originally located on Blackstone Road in Silkstone, Bremer relocated in 2011 to our purpose-built, modern campus on Warwick Road, just minutes from the heart of Ipswich.

Your opportunity:
This role is responsible for managing key special events, including Awards Night, Anzac Day, graduation ceremonies, Open Day, study tours, Immunisations, Formals, Semi Formals, Term by term Pride Day Excursions, School photos and enrolment information sessions, ensuring each event is professionally delivered and aligned with the school's priorities and values.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain strong professional relationships with staff, students, families, and external stakeholders to support the success of school events initiatives.
Working collaboratively with internal and external partners, the Events Manager will develop and implement engaging event strategies that enhance community engagement and promote the school.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate school special events including Awards night, Anzac Day, Graduation ceremonies, Open Day, Study Tours and enrolment information, including consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events.
Coordinate the production of all school publications and promotional material along with the school newsletter and maintain content for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of school marketing and events, and the promotion of the school as a key priority.
