Grocery Assistant / All Rounder
Position: Grocery Assistant / All Rounder – Permanent Part-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm (25 hours per week)
Location: Lilyfield IGA
Award Rate: From $27.81 per hour (Retail Employee Level 1 – General Retail Industry Award)
Reports to: Store Manager
Lilyfield IGA is looking for a reliable and hardworking Grocery Assistant / All Rounder to join our team. This is a permanent part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, physical work, and contributing to a well-organised store.
Key Duties
- Accepting and checking deliveries
- Stock filling and rotation (FIFO principles)
- Maintaining clean and tidy aisles and back-of-house areas
- Assisting with general grocery department tasks
- Supporting other departments as required (all-rounder duties)
- Providing friendly assistance to customers when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Availability Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm (essential)
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a physical role
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous retail or grocery experience preferred but not essential – training provided
