1st Year Apprentice Chef
We are looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to start a career in hospitality. You will work alongside experienced chefs while learning practical kitchen skills, food preparation, hygiene standards, and daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Learn kitchen procedures, recipes, and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
- Help with stock rotation and storage
- Support the team during service
- Take direction from senior chefs and kitchen management
- Attend required apprenticeship training
About You
- Genuine interest in cooking and hospitality
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- No previous experience required, but a passion for food is essential
