Drive the performance, growth and success of The Coffee Club's company-owned store portfolio.
As our company-owned store network continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Area Manager to lead performance, support Cafe Managers and help shape the future of our company-owned cafes.
About Us
It's an exciting time to join The Coffee Club.
As we continue to evolve one of Australia's most recognised café brands, we're investing in our customer experience, store network and future growth. From our refreshed brand and modern store refurbishments to menu innovation and the continued growth of our cold drinks range, we're creating experiences that resonate with today's customers while staying true to what has made The Coffee Club a favourite for more than 35 years.
Part of the Minor DKL Food Group and global Minor International family, we're one of Australia's leading food franchisors, with hundreds of stores across Australia and internationally.
We're passionate about great coffee, great food and great people, and we're building a culture where our teams can grow, contribute and make a genuine impact.
About the Role
As Company Store Area Manager, you'll provide operational leadership across The Coffee Club's company-owned store portfolio, partnering with Store Leaders to deliver strong commercial results, outstanding customer experiences and consistent brand standards.
You'll drive sales growth, profitability, operational excellence and team capability through coaching, financial management and hands-on support, helping leaders build high-performing stores and teams.
Alongside supporting existing Company-owned stores, you'll play a key role in onboarding stores into the portfolio as opportunities arise, ensuring smooth operational and people transitions. You'll also help deliver new initiatives, systems and business improvements, supporting teams to successfully embed change.
This role requires regular national travel, sometimes at short notice, and is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships and loves solving problems and driving results.
About You
You're a proven multi-site leader who can balance commercial performance with people leadership. You understand what drives results and know how to build capable, engaged and accountable teams.
You'll bring experience in an Area Manager, Multi-Site Manager or similar operational leadership role within hospitality, retail or another customer-focused environment. You're comfortable analysing financial performance, identifying opportunities and supporting Store Leaders to improve sales, profitability, labour management and operational standards.
Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to influence others, prioritise effectively and lead through change. Experience with workforce management, employment compliance and the Franchising Code of Conduct will be highly regarded.
A current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and the ability to travel nationally are required.
