This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in Surveying and CAD, working alongside our experienced Survey Team at our Sunshine Coast office. You'll provide technical CAD and drafting support while gaining exposure to digital survey data, 12d modelling and civil construction projects.
About the role:
Reporting to the Group Survey Manager you’ll receive hands-on training and support as you learn to:
- Provide drafting support to the survey site team
- Complete plan checks on new projects and updates as required during construction to ensure digital data aligns with the IFC drawings
- Complete Digital CAD data tidy for use in 12d projects & Survey Software
- Complete Project Overview & As-constructed Layout Drawings
- Carry out quantity take-offs and calculate earthwork volumes
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. You’ll ideally have:
- Basic AutoCAD experience
- Completed or currently studying a related qualification in Drafting, or similar
- Ambition, drive, and willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Interpersonal skills
