Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our engineering team on-site at our Clayton facility. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in PCB design and embedded systems, who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic hardware for LED-based systems using Altium Designer.
- Develop and test circuits involving SMD LEDs, 4G/5G, BLE, and Xilinx processors.
- Design and support solar and battery-powered systems.
- Work with ATMEL SAM microcontrollers in embedded control applications.
- Apply EMC design principles to ensure compliance, including layout, shielding, and filtering techniques.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams to deliver robust and reliable products.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and debugging of hardware systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain documentation for designs, revisions, and testing procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in hardware design using Altium Designer.
- Hands-on experience with SMD LED circuits, wireless communication modules (4G/5G, BLE), and Xilinx FPGA/SoC platforms.
- Experience working with ATMEL SAM microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with solar and battery-powered embedded systems.
- Solid understanding of EMC design and testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
