Who we're looking for:
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Technical Operations Team, supporting both business-as-usual (BAU) operations and project delivery across cloud and on-premise environments.
Reporting to the Global Technical Operations Manager, this role plays a critical part in designing, maintaining, and improving our global infrastructure while strengthening our cyber security posture. You will work collaboratively across a global IT function, providing expert support, resolving complex technical issues, and contributing to ongoing service and security improvements.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes ownership, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure and deploy scalable infrastructure solutions (cloud and on-premise)
- Proactively monitor systems and ensure performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and network issues
- Support and enhance cyber security initiatives, including incident response
- Follow ITIL change management processes and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide Level 2/3 support and manage escalations across global environments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve incidents and improve services
- Contribute to ISMS compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop knowledge base articles, SOPs, and operational documentation
- Support infrastructure and security projects as a key technical resource
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in infrastructure engineering within an enterprise environment
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS) and on-premise infrastructure
- Strong understanding of:
- Azure Governance, Security, Identity, Monitoring and Automation
- Security tools such as Sentinel, Defender, Azure Security Centre
- Cloud-based disaster recovery solutions
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and security incidents
- Scripting/coding capability (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
Certifications (preferred/required):
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Associate (MS-900 / MS-500)
