Front Desk & Patient Experience LeadPermanent Part-Time | 3–4 Days Per Week
Broadbeach Orthodontics, Gold Coast
Help us create confident smiles from the moment our patients walk through the door.
At Broadbeach Orthodontics, we believe creating beautiful smiles starts with creating exceptional patient experiences. Every interaction matters, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to making every patient and family feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and cared for.
We're seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and people-focused Front Desk & Patient Experience Lead to become the heart of our practice. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead our front office, create a seamless patient journey, and help shape the warm, welcoming culture we're known for.
Orthodontic treatment is a journey, and our patients visit us regularly over many months, sometimes years. That's why we're looking for someone who understands the importance of building relationships, remembering the little details, and making every visit a positive experience.
This is more than a reception role. It's an opportunity to become an integral part of a close-knit team, with genuine career progression into a Practice Manager position as our practice continues to grow.
About the Role
As our Front Desk & Patient Experience Lead, you'll be the first smile our patients see and the reassuring voice they hear. You'll lead the day-to-day operation of our front office, coordinate the patient journey, and ensure every interaction reflects the caring, professional standards of Broadbeach Orthodontics.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every patient and family with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
- Lead the daily operation of our front office and reception.
- Coordinate appointments and manage the clinical schedule efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and patient enquiries with confidence, empathy, and professionalism.
- Ensure every patient enjoys a seamless, personalised experience from their first enquiry through to the completion of treatment.
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support the clinical team with administrative and organisational tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and the overall patient experience.
- Help foster a positive, supportive, and professional team culture.
- Maintain a welcoming, organised, and beautifully presented reception environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with people and believes exceptional service is found in the little things.
You'll bring:
- A warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- A genuine passion for creating outstanding customer experiences.
- A hospitality mindset you naturally make people feel welcome, comfortable, and valued.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm, positive, and solutions-focused in a busy environment.
- Initiative, confidence, and a willingness to take ownership.
- A collaborative approach and a desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Previous experience in dental or orthodontics is highly regarded; however, we also welcome applicants from hospitality, premium retail, healthcare, or other customer-focused industries. We believe attitude, kindness, and a genuine passion for caring for people are just as important as experience.
What We Offer
- Permanent part-time position (3–4 days per week).
- Competitive remuneration based on experience.
- A supportive, collaborative, and positive team environment.
- Ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development.
- Genuine career progression into a Practice Manager role.
- The opportunity to work in a modern, well-established specialist orthodontic practice.
- A workplace where your ideas, initiative, and contribution are genuinely valued.
