Details: iCBR, Delivery - Transport and Civil (T&C) is responsible for the procurement and delivery of Tier 1 and 2 infrastructure projects for the people of Canberra. This includes projects such as the Light Rail Stage 2 program of works, Roads Infrastructure projects and Waste Infrastructure projects. The division also supports partner directorates, including City and Environment Directorate and the City Renewal Authority, in the delivery of Tier 3 projects through provision of procurement and contract management services.
This role provides critical support to Transport & Civil (T&C) projects, including Tier 3 projects, through the development, implementation and quality assurance of project documentation. The position also provides direct support to the IM3 responsible for leading the Tier 3 project portfolio, helping to coordinate governance activities, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the program.
Key responsibilities include driving improvements to project management processes and systems, overseeing the preparation and review of project reporting, briefs and governance materials, and ensuring the consistent application of project management standards and practices.

Experience in an Executive Officer, Business Manager, Governance, Coordination or Project Management Office (PMO) role within government, infrastructure, construction or project delivery environments, including supporting senior executives and coordinating governance, reporting and business management activities.

Sound working knowledge of Objective and Microsoft Office Suit and business information management systems.

An understanding of ACT Government administrative, governance and business processes, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 01 November 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
