HIRING NOW – HIRE YARD LEADING HAND (MACKAY)
- Location: Paget, Mackay
- Rate: $54.55 p/h inclusive of allowances + 12% Super
- Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time (38 hours per week)
- Roster: 6am - 2.30pm
We're looking for a hands-on leader to join our small branch in Paget.
If you know your way around tools, can run a yard, and keep a small crew on track, we'd love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a small, tight-knit crew – training, supervising, keeping jobs running safely
- Complete repairs, maintenance & upgrades on our hire fleet
- Operate forklift to load/unload modules and equipment
- Inspect, clean & prep buildings so they're ready to go back out for hire
- Help coordinate deliveries, pickups, and yard movements
- Keep records up to date, accurate and support with stocktakes
- Handle customer handovers and queries
What you'll Need:
- Current Forklift Ticket & Driver’s Licence
- Solid hands-on skills with tools, maintenance or repairs
- Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring others
- Basic computer skills
- Background in construction, building, or hire yard work preferred
