Lepol Metal Work Pty Ltd is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team full-time to support fabrication work across a variety of large-scale construction projects.
Job Description
As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing precision welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures used in high-rises, hospitals, data centers, and custom commercial projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing MIG, TIG, and Stick welding (GMAW, GTAW, MMAW)
- Welding and fabricating stainless steel, structural steel, and sheet metal components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Setting up and operating welding machines and equipment
- Performing high-quality welds on light to heavy gauge materials
- Custom steel fabrication tailored to project specifications
- Ensuring all welds meet industry codes and internal standards
- Conducting pre- and post-weld inspections to maintain quality assurance
- Maintaining welding equipment and performing routine upkeep
- Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment
Salary
Full Time $80,000-$85,000 + superannuation
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
