Apax Stone Projects is expanding and opening a new branch in Townsville. We are seeking motivated and reliable Tilers and Labourers to join our growing team.
We specialise in outdoor construction and stone works, including:
- Pool tiling and pool surrounds
- Paving and outdoor tiling
- Rock walls and retaining walls
- Coping and landscape construction
Whether you are an experienced tiler looking for a long-term opportunity or a Working Holiday Visa holder wanting to learn valuable trade skills while earning a good income, we would love to hear from you.

Pay Rates
Experienced Tilers
- From $45.00 per hour
- Rate negotiable based on experience and performance
Labourers
- From $30.00 per hour
- Opportunity to progress into tiling and stonework
Superannuation paid in addition to hourly rates for TFN employees.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and driver's licence
- Valid Australian working rights / visa
- White Card
- Own PPE (safety boots, high-vis shirt, etc.)
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
