About the Role
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating conferences, corporate functions, weddings, and special events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will work closely with guests, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure every event is delivered seamlessly and exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate conference, wedding, and event bookings from enquiry through to completion.

Prepare proposals, contracts, event orders, and client correspondence.

Assist in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and expectations.

Coordinate event logistics and supplier arrangements.

Work closely with operational departments to ensure smooth event execution.

Maintain accurate booking records and event documentation.

Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process.

Assist with promoting the resort's conferencing and event facilities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in conference and event coordination, hospitality, or a related field.

Hotel or resort experience highly regarded.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive and customer-focused approach.

Confidence working independently and as part of a team.

Certifications required: RSA
This position is Full-Time, with some evening and weekend work required during major events.
