About the Role
As our Data Analytics Specialist, you'll spend most of your time working with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, analysing complex data, and delivering interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and actionable insights. You'll also support the maintenance of our Azure and Databricks data platform, ensuring quality data is available for reporting and analytics and assist in any future development
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with business and clinical teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Analyse data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain analytical data models that support reporting and self-service analytics.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security and governance across reporting datasets.
- Monitor and maintain data pipelines and integrations to support reliable reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve business processes.
- Support business systems, including document generation, forms and workflow improvements.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to promote data literacy and continuous improvement.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys solving business problems with data and can communicate insights in a way that makes sense to a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll bring a minimum of a years’ experience in:
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI (Tableau experience also considered).
- Strong SQL skills and experience preparing, cleansing, and analysing data.
- Experience using Python for data analysis or automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, cloud data platforms, or data warehousing concepts.
- An understanding of best practice data quality, governance, and data modelling principles.
- Qualifications or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Desirable
Experience in the aged care, disability, health, wellness, or not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded, as will an understanding of services that support older people.
