We're seeking an experienced and influential Safeguarding Practice Coach to support a critical transition program. In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside educators and leaders to embed best-practice safeguarding before, during and after service transitions. Through practical coaching, mentoring and on-the-floor support, you'll strengthen safeguarding capability, promote a culture of child safety and help create environments where children, families and educators can thrive.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position based in the ACT , requiring regular travel and a daily on-site presence across our services.
Embed safeguarding practices through hands-on coaching and on-the-floor support.
Observe practice, provide real-time feedback and mentor educators and leaders.
Deliver safeguarding training and build team capability, confidence and accountability.
Identify risks and continuous improvement opportunities to strengthen quality outcomes.
Reinforce Busy Bees' safeguarding framework and One Platform approach.
Partner with Service Leaders, Area Directors and Operations to drive consistent safeguarding standards across transitioning services.
A genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing, aligned with our Busy Bees values.
ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, with a current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
Significant experience in early childhood, safeguarding, quality, compliance, training or coaching roles.
Proven ability to coach, mentor and influence educators and leaders.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and quality standards in regulated environments.
Skilled at identifying risks and delivering practical, solution-focused improvements.
Ability to work independently across multiple sites, with flexibility to travel.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
