Mt Derrimut Driving Range & Mini Golf is looking for a reliable, motivated and customer-focused Casual Range Attendant to join our team.
This is a hands-on role in a busy hospitality and sports environment. Every day is different, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in presentation and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Opening and closing the venue
- Monitoring bays and ensuring safety procedures are followed
- Serving customers and processing sales through our POS system
- Preparing and serving food and drinks
- Ball picking and general range maintenance
- Cleaning all customer, kitchen and staff areas to a high standard
- Restocking food, beverage and operational storage areas
- Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the venue
- Assisting with general operations and problem solving during shifts
- Supporting the leadership team with the day-to-day operation of the venue
About you
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is a bonus, as this role may lead to future leadership opportunities
- Hospitality, retail or customer service experience preferred
- Exposure to kitchen operations and food handling is preferred
- An interest in golf or previous golf experience is preferred, but not essential
- Confident working independently and making decisions
- Friendly, professional and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Current RSA (or willing to obtain one)
- Own reliable transport is essential
