K&S Fuels have been servicing fuel and lubricant requirements in the Southeast of South Australia for 60 years. We have been servicing the fuel requirements to local motorists as well as agriculture, logging, transport and fishing industries. The Opportunity:
Based at our Mount Gambier depot, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the depot, leading a team of drivers and ensuring our customers receive safe, reliable and efficient service.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance people leadership with operational responsibilities, including safety and compliance, customer service, fleet coordination, stock management and depot maintenance.
You’ll be a key member of the K&S Fuels team, building strong relationships with our people and customers while identifying opportunities to improve depot performance.
You will:
Lead and support the depot team, fostering a positive and safety-focused culture.
Coordinate daily depot operations, deliveries and customer requirements.
Ensure all operations meet safety, compliance and company standards.
Manage fleet, equipment, stock and depot maintenance requirements.
Build strong relationships with customers, drivers and key stakeholders.
Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate operational records and provide regular updates to management.
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally within transport, logistics or fuel.
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
A strong commitment to safety, compliance and customer service.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced operational environment.
Current HR and Forklift licences.
Dangerous Goods (DG) licence is desirable.
Knowledge of the Southeast of South Australian region is desirable.
