As Lead Automation Engineer within our elite Performance Unit, you will be the critical bridge between executive-level strategy and modern automated process development.

Essential Selection Criteria:
-
Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field.
-
Strong technical expertise in automation technologies, such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms, combined with proficiency in programming languages including Python, C#, .NET, or JavaScript. Proficiency in Python and/or R; experience with SQL and relational databases.

Experience integrating complex systems and applications through APIs, web services, and modern integration frameworks.

Knowledge of ML, statistical modelling, data visualization, LLMs, generative AI, and prompt engineering.

Ability to analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency, service quality, compliance, and user experience.

Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders across multiple business functions, translating business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
