Rim Lab Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced full-time Vehicle Painterto join our team at Rim Lab. Working at our state-of-the-art facility in Mount Lawley, in this role, you'll will be responsible for providing high-quality rim repair services.
This is an opportunity will suit experienced vehicle painters looking to apply their skills in specialised field of alloy wheel and rim repair.
What you'll be doing
- Carefully inspecting damaged wheels to identify the required repair process
- Prepare wheel surfaces for painting
- Sand wheel surfaces by hand and machinery
- Apply advanced colour matching and painting skills to ensure a seamless finish
- Apply primer and paint using spray-guns
- Utilising specialised equipment and techniques to straighten, repair and refinish rims
- Operate CNC machine to process wheel back to OEM original state
- Masking areas not painted with tape and paper and remove after painting
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Collaborating with a small skilled team to ensure high-quality repairs
What we're looking
- At least 4 Years experience in Vehicle Painter with proven experience working within alloy wheel and rim repair.
- Qualified Vehicle Painter (Tradespersons - Certification III, or at least three years of relevant experience)
- Someone who enjoys delivery high-quality work, in a team environment.
