About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced Assembly and Paint Manager to lead our Assembly and Paint departments based at our Yatala facility, Queensland. This is a pivotal role within our production management team and will see you managing the daily operations of assembly and paint lines, ensuring production targets are met whilst maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will be a highly driven individual, who has strong leadership skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role manages areas that are the last link in the manufacturing line, therefore attention to detail is important.
Key Responsibilities:

Own and execute the production schedule, ensuring jobs are delivered accurately and on time in our Assembly and Paint departments
- Ability to analyse charts, work orders, production schedules to determine production requirements within the departments

Identify and resolve delays, capacity constraints, and process issues

Drive continuous improvement initiatives & collaborate with relevant departments on product improvements

Develop a performance driven environment to maximise the assembly & paint teams potential through mentoring and training
Essential Requirements:

Trade qualification in mechanical/fabrication/fitting and/or demonstrated experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role within a manufacturing environment

Demonstrated success of leading teams/driving results in a manufacturing environment

Excellent troubleshooting ability in a faced paced environment

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills

Experience with tier one ERP systems is essential

Hands on experience with loaders and/or strong mechanical aptitude
