Join Our Team at Aya Care Support Services – Support Worker Wanted!
Aya Care Support Services is a dedicated and passionate NDIS provider committed to empowering individuals to live their best lives. We are looking for a reliable and compassionate support worker to assist a teenage boy with Cerebral Palsy in Pakenham. The participant is non-verbal and requires support with personal care and daily activities. Experience working with individuals with Behaviours of Concern (BOCs) is highly regarded.
Location: Pakenham, VIC 3810
Shifts:
Wednesday and Friday - 2:30pm - 6:30pm
Saturday - 10am - 2pm
Potential Monday - 2:30pm - 6:30pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and hygiene support
- Support in the home and community
- Implement behaviour support strategies (BOCs)
- Build a positive and consistent relationship with the participant
About You:
- You have a genuine passion for helping others
- Must be reliable and committed to ongoing shifts
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably children or teens
- Confident in providing personal care
- Calm, patient, and proactive
- You can communicate effectively and clearly in English – written and verbal
- You have: Relevant Qualification/ Certificates, NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Modules, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR, Driver’s License, access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
