The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to work on complex initiatives involving core banking platforms, payments, lending products, data migration, and enterprise-wide system integration/migration testing.
As a Terra Firma Business Consultant, you will benefit from working with one of our valued clients on a significant transformation initiative. You will be part of a collaborative project team, working across multiple workstreams and engaging with business and technical stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of testing outcomes.
The Role
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios across multiple project streams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Functional and Integration Testing: Perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Data Migration Testing: Support data migration activities, including data validation, reconciliation, conversion testing, and migration verification.
- Defect Management: Identify, log, track, analyse, and manage defects through to resolution, working closely with development and delivery teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, SMEs, and external vendors to support successful project delivery.
- Test Documentation: Produce and maintain testing artefacts including test plans, test cases, test scripts, defect reports, and test summary reports.
- Risk and Quality Assurance: Participate in risk assessments and provide clear reporting on testing progress, outcomes, and quality metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to testing process improvements and share best practices across the project team.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have proven experience as a Test Analyst within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Lending, or Core Banking transformation programs. You will possess a strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and have experience working across large-scale technology, migration, or platform transformation initiatives.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Lending, or Core Banking programs.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
Experience performing:

- Regression Testing
- UAT Support
- Experience using OpenText ALM, HP ALM, Quality Center, or similar test management tools.
- Strong SQL and data validation experience.
- Experience working with complex datasets and performing reconciliation and validation activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly Desirable
- Core Banking transformation or migration experience.
- Payments, Lending, Cards, Deposits, or Digital Banking experience.
- Data migration testing experience including reconciliation and conversion testing.
- Exposure to large-scale banking platform upgrades, implementations, or replacement programs.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
