Senior Works Scheduler
Location: Sydney, NSW

About the Role
Our client is a major infrastructure services contractor delivering road asset maintenance and management programs across Sydney under a long-term performance contract with a NSW Government road authority.
This is a senior individual contributor role sitting at the centre of works delivery. The Senior Works Scheduler owns the end-to-end programming of maintenance works — from converting work requirements into executable schedules through to coordinating field delivery. Critically, this role carries responsibility for how work is sequenced and dispatched: decisions made here directly affect crew productivity, network disruption, and customer experience across Sydney's road network.

Forecasting and scheduling workloads across multiple maintenance work crews
-
Converting work requirements into realistic, resource-matched work orders that account for network impacts and customer experience
-
Planning and dispatching work allocations, managing competing work and customer requirements simultaneously
-
Liaising with field staff, work supervisors, operations centre staff, and the Customer and Stakeholder team to coordinate delivery
-
Building and maintaining working relationships with key TfNSW representatives, including the Traffic Management Centre
-
Managing all scheduling and administration requirements within the office
-
Reviewing existing scheduling processes and identifying improvements
-
Maintaining accurate electronic and hard copy records
-
Reporting incidents to the Customer Experience Manager in a timely manner
