Midland City are seeking a motivated, commercially minded and results-driven Used Vehicle Buyer to join our high-performing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to play a key role in sourcing and purchasing quality used vehicles that drive dealership performance and profitability. Working closely with our Wholesale Manager, you will use your market knowledge, negotiation skills and industry relationships to secure quality stock across a diverse range of passenger, prestige, luxury, performance and commercial vehicles.

About the Role
As a Used Vehicle Buyer, you will:

Proactively source and purchase quality used vehicles through a variety of channels

Accurately assess and value vehicles in line with current market conditions

Build strong relationships with customers, wholesalers and industry contacts to generate ongoing buying opportunities

Negotiate vehicle purchases to achieve strong commercial outcomes and dealership profitability

Monitor market trends, vehicle values and stock availability
-
Work closely with the Wholesale Manager and dealership teams to maintain appropriate stock levels

Complete purchasing documentation accurately and efficiently

Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance
About You
You are:

Passionate about the automotive industry with a strong understanding of the used vehicle market

A motivated, commercially focused professional with excellent negotiation skills

Financially driven with the ability to identify profitable purchasing opportunities

A confident communicator who builds strong long-term business relationships

Well presented, professional and committed to achieving results

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and computer literacy

Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

Focused on continuously delivering strong commercial outcomes for the business
Essential Requirements:-
Current WA Driver's Licence

Previous experience within a dealership buying, wholesale or used vehicle environment is highly regarded

Strong knowledge of used vehicle operations and current market values
