We are excited to announce the opening of a new café in Salamander Bay and are looking for passionate, reliable, and hardworking team members to join our kitchen team.
We are currently hiring Chefs, Cooks, and Kitchen Hands who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer experiences.
About the Role
As part of our kitchen team, you will play an important role in preparing and serving fresh café-style food while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu items
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and well maintained
- Assist with stock rotation and receiving deliveries
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required

Pay: $53,707.54 – $83,070.63 per year
