About the role
We are based in the western suburbs of Melbourne and service the Engineering, Hardware and Construction industries.
A need has developed for an Engineering Technologist to work alongside our sales and operations team to organise and oversee a number of new and existing projects.
The successful candidate will need to familiarize themselves with the product range and operational aspects of the business.
Duties may include:
- Analysing and interpreting drawings and specifications.
- Monitoring and improving existing technical practices.
- Implement testing protocols and data collection.
- Providing technical advice, solutions and training as required.
- Assist with compliance to relevant standards.
- Assist in the feasibility and preparation of cost estimates and budgets for engineering and technical projects.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Working with Branch Managers, owners and others to facilitate required outcomes.
- Collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken, and reporting on project outcomes
- Attend training as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $79,500.00 per year
