Your RoleI
n this role, you will deliver vital support services that promote well-being, strengthen family relationships, and help clients access essential resources. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Daily Living Support: Providing personal care, including grooming, dressing, mobility, and hygiene.
- Well-being & Independence: Offering emotional, social, and practical support to empower clients.
- Tailored Care: Assessing individual needs and helping develop personalized care plans.
- Community Connection: Accompanying clients to appointments, community activities, and social events.
- Collaboration: Communicating effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
What You Bring
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in personal care, disability support, or community services.
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or equivalent preferred.
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Key Skills: Strong communication and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: A patient, empathetic, and professional approach to handling sensitive situations.
- Teamwork: The ability to work confidently on your own and collaborate seamlessly within a team.
- Safety First: A solid understanding of basic health and safety practices in care environments.
Pre-Employment RequirementsTo ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, the successful candidate must provide or undergo:
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A current National Police Check.
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
