We are urgently hiring 3 experienced Disability Support Workers to stabilise a high-risk, complex in-home care environment.
This role is demanding. It requires resilience, consistency, and the ability to work under pressure.

10–30 hours per week (with consistent ongoing shifts)
About the Role
You will be supporting a participant with significant physical disability and neurological impairment in a home environment with known environmental and behavioural challenges.
This is a frontline, high-responsibility role where staff safety awareness is critical, clear boundaries must be maintained, and situational judgment is required at all times.
Clinical & Physical Support Needs
Spinal cord injury (paraplegia)
Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
Chronic nerve pain
Full-time wheelchair user
Care Requirements
Full personal care (showering, dressing, hygiene)
Suprapubic catheter (SPC) care
Stoma care
Manual handling and transfers
Repositioning and pressure care
Medication prompting
Monitoring and reporting clinical changes
Environmental Reality
This is not a standard home care role.
The environment includes periods of heightened tension and unpredictability, exposure to verbal aggression and conflict within the home, and situations requiring de-escalation and strong professional boundaries.
You will be supported with clear guidance and structured procedures, however you must be able to manage yourself professionally within this environment at all times.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Minimum 6 months disability or complex care experience
Confident with personal care
NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain immediately)
Ability to start within 72 hours
Highly Regarded
Experience in complex or high-risk home environments
Brain injury experience
Catheter and/or stoma care experience
Behavioural support experience
