The Chief Operations Office (COO) is the strategic centre and engine room of the Group, focused on delivering efficient processes relating to the origination, production, validation and fulfilment of transactions and trades across the Group as well as key regulatory programs. Core to the functions of the COO is a focus on customer. Every single process that we execute has a significant impact on the customer experience .
This role supports the Executive Manager, AI, Data & Analytics Strategy, in shaping and delivering the Data, Analytics and AI strategic agenda across COO. Working closely with stakeholders across business, technology and operations, the role helps translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, supports prioritisation and planning activities, and ensures progress is tracked to deliver intended outcomes and business value.
The role contributes to strategy development and execution across several high-priority areas of the bank, including Fraud, Scams, Financial Crime and Operations. Success will require strong strategic thinking, a solid understanding of Data, Analytics and AI, and the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders to drive initiatives from concept through to execution, helping accelerate the adoption and impact of Data, Analytics and AI across COO.
Contribute to the development, refinement and execution of the Data, Analytics and AI strategy, supporting an ambitious and transformative agenda.
Develop strategic analysis, recommendations and executive-ready materials to support decision-making, governance and delivery of key Data, Analytics and AI priorities across COO.
Lead and execute projects end-to-end by working with stakeholders across the Group. This includes identifying , framing and scoping strategic problems, project management, undertaking primary external and internal research, synthesising complex information, developing high-quality solutions, writing clear reports, and communicating findings succinctly to relevant stakeholders.
