About the Role
TSA is expanding its capability to deliver major transport, energy, and infrastructure projects across NSW and nationally. We're seeking commercially astute and experienced
, Commercial Managers to join our organisation with strong delivery-phase expertise to manage complex contracts and drive successful outcomes on high-value programs.
You'll work client-side, embedded in delivery teams, providing hands-on commercial leadership across procurement, contract administration, claims resolution, and risk management. You'll join a collaborative and supportive team committed to adding value and making a positive impact on every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement contract management plans and dispute resolution strategies aligned with best practice
- Manage complex commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers, contractors, and partners.
- Drive commercial governance, compliance, and approval processes across project portfolios.
- Manage progress claims, variations, and invoices, ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements
- Develop and maintain commercial frameworks (payment schedules, KPI regimes, risk/reward models)
- Provide strategic advice on procurement, risk allocation, and cost management
- Build collaborative relationships with contractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders
- Mentor and develop commercial and contract management professionals within the business.
About You
- 10+ years' experience in commercial management and contract administration on major infrastructure projects
- Strong background in delivery-phase contract management and claims resolution
- Proven experience negotiating high-value and complex commercial agreements.
- Experience with PPP, D&C, Alliance, Managing Contractor, and EPCM contract frameworks
- Qualifications in engineering, commerce, law, QS, or project management
- A collaborative team player who brings a proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
Desirable Experience
- Experience with renewable energy projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hydrogen, transmission infrastructure, or major energy capital projects.
- Knowledge of relevant energy regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry standards highly regarded.
- Experience working with government agencies, utilities, network providers, or major contractors.
