Specialising in men’s and women’s suiting, we pride ourselves on expert advice, personalised service and helping every customer find the right fit for their style and occasion.
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-focused person to join our Newcastle retail team.
About the Role
This part time position ( Saturday 9am - 2pm, Sunday 10am - 2pm and Monday 9am - 5pm) is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in quality clothing and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience. More hours will possibly be available for the ideal candidate.
At Rundle Tailoring, we don’t work by KPIs or sales targets we focus on building genuine relationships, understanding our customers and providing personalised service.
Your role will include:
- Fitting & styling customers for weddings, formal events, business and everyday dressing
- Working across men’s and women’s suiting
- Assisting customers with ready-to-wear collections
- Conducting fittings and providing advice on garment fit and alterations
- Formal hire fittings and event styling
- Assisting with Made-to-Measure appointments (experience dependent)
- Merchandising and store presentation
- Stock management and day-to-day retail operations
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in menswear, womenswear, suiting or premium retail highly regarded
- Made-to-Measure experience highly regarded
- Suiting, fitting, tailoring or alterations knowledge highly regarded
- A genuine interest in quality clothing, fabrics and styling
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- A warm, confident and professional approach to customer service
- Reliable, organised and comfortable working within a small team
- Availability to work the rostered Saturday, Sunday and Monday hours (additional hours available for the ideal candidate)
