Job Title: Breakfast Cook

About the Role
The Munich Cafe is looking for a motivated and reliable Breakfast Cook to join our team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about food, takes pride in their work, and can deliver high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced café environment. This is a part-time position offering 15–25 hours per week, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items to a high standard.
- Ensure food is presented consistently and meets quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Cook, Line Cook, or similar role preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Good knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and food preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Requirements
- Current right to work in Australia.
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate (preferred).
- Previous café or commercial kitchen experience highly regarded.

Pay: $53,198.24 – $82,392.97 per year
